Skin & Hair Prep

To ensure your makeup applies smoothly and lasts beautifully, please follow these prep steps:

1. Cleanse – Gently wash your face with a mild cleanser to remove any oils or residue.
    
2. Exfoliate (1–2 days prior) – Lightly exfoliate to remove dead skin cells. Avoid harsh scrubs or treatments right before your appointment.
    
3. Moisturize – Apply a lightweight, non-greasy moisturizer the night before and the morning of your appointment.
    
4. Avoid New Products – Refrain from trying new skincare or treatments at least 5 days before your glam session to avoid potential irritation or breakouts.
    
5. No Makeup – Arrive with a clean, bare face. No makeup, oils, or SPF.
    
6. Brows Groomed – If needed, have your brows groomed (waxed, threaded, or tweezed) at least 24–48 hours beforehand.
    
7. Hydrate – Drink plenty of water in the days leading up to your appointment for healthy, glowing skin.
    
8. Lip Care – Exfoliate and moisturize your lips, especially if wearing a bold lip color.

 – Important Note for Competitors - No Tanning on the Face

To ensure a flawless makeup application, please do not spray tan your face prior to your glam session.

Spray tan on the face can:

• Create a blotchy appearance, as makeup may cling to dry or uneven patches.
   
• Cause your foundation and concealer to appear greyish or olive-toned, resulting in a muddy finish that distorts your true skin tone.
   
• Interfere with product performance and overall longevity.
   

For the best results, we recommend spray tanning up to the neck only. Our artists will expertly match your foundation to blend seamlessly with your tan while keeping your complexion radiant and photo-ready.
